     Natalie Elise Schwammlein, 5, of Peoria, passed away at 4:20 p.m. on Sunday, October 21, 2012, at home.
     Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 25, 2012, at Northwoods Community Church in Peoria, with Pastors John King and Aaron Bracey officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, October 24, 2012, also at Northwoods.
     Natalie was born in Pekin on October 2, 2007, a daughter of Brian and Jen (George) Schwammlein. They survive.
     She is also survived by her siblings, Peter, Daniel and Anna Schwammlein; paternal grandparents, Gary and Gloria Schwammlein of Barrington; maternal grandmother, Brenda (Larry) Shay of Peoria; and maternal grandfather, Bob (Cassie) George of Eureka, MO.
     Natalie attended Discoveryland at Northwoods Community Church and enjoyed the Classical Conversations pre-school program and Jump Start Gymnastics in Peoria.
     She enjoyed coloring, arts and crafts; swimming, swinging and play acting baby animal; listening to music by Julie K. and watching the Oklahoma Sooners and FC Bayern Munich; and collecting sawdust and rocks and digging in the dirt.
     Natalie loved being in the swimming pool or at church or anywhere, as long as she was on the go. Most importantly, she loved birthdays, candy, listening to stories or playing with her siblings. She will be remembered most for her courage and her endurance. She was one of a kind.
     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Natalie’s memory to Dream Center Peoria.
     Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue, in Peoria.
